Zoe Dodson hails from Chicago’s western burbs and grew up on a heavy diet of comedy, from Mad TV to Saturday Night Live to studying Mitch Hedberg and other stars. And what of her first time on stage? “Nerve wracking … It was a large audience with bright lights,” she recalled. But that wasn’t a problem, because “I love bright lights – the brighter, the better.”
