 tlight! Our stand-up comedy class is designed to help kids discover their 
 comedic voice and build confidence on stage. Through interactive exercises
  and games\, students will learn: *The basics of joke writing *How to find
  humor in everyday life *Stage presence and delivery skills *Improvisation
  techniques to think on your feet *How to overcome stage fright This class
  is perfect for kids who love to make people laugh\, want to boost their c
 onfidence\, and explore their creativity in a supportive and fun environme
 nt. Students must bring a notepad and writing utensils to every class. Stu
 dent perks include: -Free tickets to all Comedy Plex shows during the clas
 s session (must be accompanied by an adult over 21) About your instructor:
  Jonathan Keaton is a member of the Screen Actors Guild\, an alum of the S
 econd City National Touring Company. He has instructed both adults and chi
 ldren at Naperville School of Performing Arts\, Paramount School of the Ar
 ts\, Dream Big\, American Eagle\, Second City Training Center and is curre
 ntly the Director of the Theater Department at Steps Dance Center. For the
  past decade he has focused on helping young/new performers use their voic
 e and perspective on stage.
