DJ Sandhu is a Sacramento-based stand-up comedian celebrated for his "brilliantly ignorant," absurdist humor and legendary, expansive black beard. Born to Indian parents, he famously bypassed medical school to pursue comedy out of spite after a rude encounter with another comic. Today, his sharp, unpredictable routines have made him a staple at major clubs like Laughs Unlimited, as well as a performer on international stages like the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Driven by a diverse creative background, Sandhu initially pursued a music career in punk and metal bands before finding his calling in stand-up. On stage, his striking visual presence serves as frequent comedic fuel, inspiring hilarious, surreal routines about his personal life and heavy scrutiny during airport travel. In addition to touring alongside comedy legends like Russell Peters and Theo Von, Sandhu has expanded his reach to television with a featured stand-up episode on the streaming series The Closers.
